The Third Age is upon us!

Recent weeks have been exciting. As a Sony fanboy my pulse has quickened and my palms sweaty with the imminent arrival of the PS3. After what has seemed like a millenium, the PS3 is finally about to be released on the 17th November in the US and Japan. Unfortunately I’m a gamer in South Africa, which falls under the banner of Europe and so we will have to wait till March 2007 for our chance. I choose to look on the bright side knowing that I’ll have a larger selection of launch titles as well as none of the early hassles or bugs which any new system is prone to.

Down here in South Africa we’ve also just had the Xbox 360 released and I must say that it seems a good system, just very few titles with any sort of wow factor for me though. I’ve been frantically saving up the $$ in anticipation for the PS3, so all the best Mr Sony!

The sweet smell of worry

It’s that happy time of year when students around the country all begin to wonder just where it all went wrong. From coast to coast the wails of anguish and despair can be heard reverberating. Why am I so happy I hear you asking? Simple, I finished with my student days several years ago! It gives me a huge sense of joy when I realise my days of cramming for exams are behind me. Don’t get me wrong, the life of a student is the peak of human existence (with a huge price tag attached to it). Days and nights become a blur of social events with the odd ‘class’ thrown in should you feel like it. I suppose in the end the few weeks of stress and worry are balanced out by the sheer relaxation of the rest of the year. So here’s to all the students out there: 幸運を祈る!

Warning: Cuteness overload!!

To cheer everyone up have a look at some cute puppies. Don’t you feel better already? Just feel their cuteness overwhelming you, let it wash all your stress and worries away. Don’t worry its nearly weekend! :)
